YEAR 6 SATS MATHEMATICS

Looking to help your child excel in mathematics? Our program is designed to prepare children for Papers 1, 2 and 3 of the SATs exams, with a focus on both arithmetic and reasoning skills.

In the arithmetic portion of the program, your child will learn and improve their understanding of key concepts such as fractions, decimals and percentages, square numbers, and rounding.

In the reasoning portion of the program, children will tackle more advanced concepts, such as geometry, ratios and proportions, charts and tables, units and measures, and the properties of different shapes. They'll also learn to work with Roman numerals and explore statistics, including mean, mode and median.

But it's not all about memorising formulas and facts. Our program also emphasises problem-solving in context, helping children practice worded questions that involve the topics they've learned. By effectively using their arithmetic and reasoning knowledge in context, children will be well-prepared for the SATs exams and beyond.

YEAR 6 SATS ENGLISH

At our program, we strongly believe that excellent communication skills are key to achieving success in all aspects of life. With our comprehensive English curriculum, your child will not only enhance their reading and writing abilities but also learn to express themselves confidently and effectively. Through our program, your child will gain a deep understanding of the structure, meaning, and purpose of different texts, and develop their skills in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

We cover a wide range of topics, including nouns, verbs, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, determiners, conjunctions, clauses, and more. Your child will also learn about subjunctive verbs, passive and active voices, subordinate clauses, and the correct usage of capital letters, commas, inverted commas, apostrophes, colons, semi-colons, and hyphens. Additionally, we instill a love of reading in our students by teaching them about suffixes, homophones, synonyms, antonyms, and correct spelling. Give your child the gift of strong communication skills and enroll them in our program today!
